If we wish to cure sleeping problems safely, we need to become more aware of what we are doing to ourselves when we turn to things such as medications. The well known fact of the addictive qualities of xerbal xanax, be they gotten over the counter or by prescription, is dangerous enough. But when we coupled with the factor of their ceasing to be effective after only weeks of use, dependency is fairly inevitable. Resulting bouts of rebound insomnia just adds to the self injury.
There is a more non-intrusive cure which can be safely implemented by those with sleeping problems. The use of audio therapy has had a number of breakthroughs in this field, including the once popular binaural audio therapy. It uses two different sets of tones and pulses, one set for each ear, of almost the same frequency as each other, but slightly out of phase. The brain then processes this information as one signal inducing the proper brainwave activity most conducive to sleepwell.
What should be obvious here is the major drawback in this cure. Those with sleeping problems have it bad enough, but then there’s the awkwardness of trying to sleep with stereo headphones on without them coming off during sleep and waking us up all over again. Clearly for many, this was a formidable handicap. Another type of similar approach uses isochronic pulses which require no stereo equipment, and has proven to be the most health generating technique to cure sleeping problems. Tones and pulses of certain changing frequencies train the brain and induce the needed brainwave activity to allow sleep, in much the same way that a motorist’s heartbeat may attune itself to the “beat” of the passing white lines in the road. Having no risk of dependency, and utilizing the science of nature and vice-versa, this is the safest of methods in this field.
